GOOD NEWS! All “Early Bird” members will have a Free “Gourmet” dinner on 11/11/11. Menu is being
planned; will let you know by flyer when menu is complete. For those of you that have not paid your 2012
dues, you will still be eligible for a great free dinner if you have paid by 11/11/11.
We welcome new members JOE BEELS, GIL VANEGAS, ROBERT JENDROCK, AARON VIGIL,
transfer member LEONARD STARK, and returning member MARC EBERLY. We are currently at 67.4%
for membership renewals. This is good, but we can do a lot better. Get those dues in now.
Now some not so good news. In 2012 Department and National are raising their per-capita dues by
$6.00. This means we and probably all Posts will have to raise dues. In our case we are discussing
going to $36.00 in July 2012. This is still the best price you can find to belong to the most prestigious
Veteran’s Organization in the World! None of us like raising dues but we understand the necessity. If you
have questions, ask me and I will try to explain.
